by Matt9298 on 04-09-11 05:51 PM Ok so I have a EJ208 twin turbo motor and have found a 96 5 speed manual gearbox for it but the gearbox came out of a FWD and I have an AWD will it still work? |

by XoN on 05-09-11 11:59 AM You should do some more reading into the requirements of a 6 speed conversion. It's not as easy as slapping the gearbox in and driving away. |

by Matt9298 on 05-09-11 06:54 PM I wanted to stick with a 5 speed. I thought it wouldn't work but the guy that is selling it said it would fit |

by aekOne on 05-09-11 07:24 PM hate to state the obvious here but a fwd bear box drives the front wheels. a awd gearbox drives all four wheels. they are two different kinds of gearboxes.

by XoN on 06-09-11 09:54 AM Since you have an auto, you'll also need a pedal box on top of what Aek has already listed.
