Im sure you will find other info on this if you do a search.

I have never removed the stereo as such but have been behind the trim a few times.

I used the write up on clubsub in nz. Its for the JDM cars, but it should all be the same. You just have to remember, the guy who did the write up left out the bit about removing the two screws under the stereo before you remove the trim. They are really hard to access. They are just under the stereo, above where the ash tray fits. I have had hours wasted trying to get them back in. You will need a really short screw driver and some patience.
