Liberty Etiquette...

  Top of Page

Is it just me or does there appear to be some unwritten rule of Liberty (or Subaru) Etiquette. Its just in my time on the road , now almost 13 years (10 of those in one subi or another  smile  ) it seems that there is some kind of alliance formed within the reign of subaru owners...
I wonder if these unwritten rules were to be interpreted maybe they would read...

...thou shall let any other subaru driver cut in front of you (no matter how neglected or riced up the subi is)

...when a fellow subaru driver needs to swap lanes or pull out of an intersection into heavy traffic, leave room so that this can be performed.

...if a similar subi model as your is travelling the opposite direction, correct Etiquette is to nod and smile at the other subaru owner (or wave if you feel that way inclined)

...if you should line up against another subi driver and loose the race, all is ok as it is better to loose to another subi than to an inferior make (not mentioning any  :beee: )

any others...... (or is this a figment of my imagination?)

Deffinately happens. I always wave to old people driving new gt's. They all smile and wave back. It's a mutual respect thing.

I notice that, most subaru owners drive around me with a bit of etiquette, i have only come across one sube driver who was a jerk but he was just under peer pressure of his m8s

General standard is pretty good. You can usually trust them. Even when driving other cars I notice this.

This forum should offer some OzLiberty sickers for a couple of bucks like i have seen on other forums like skylineaustralia. Just some small sickers so we can say hey that guy is in Ozliberty so we have our little street club. Man i would be so up for it. How do you other guys feel about that?  smile

P.S Infact im going to make a new thread on that right now.
