Just one more question, I got turned away from a full 3" from the turbos due to the price. (quoted $1800, SS, which I thought was ridiculous). So I was looking at maby a 2 1/2" catback with a hi flow Cat. What you rekon the power difference would be? I was told there wouldn't be much difference, but I find that hard to beleive. Also a price if any1 has had it done.....

That price seems reasonable for SS. Do you have a preference for SS?

Do you have a muffler you want to use already? If your on a budget, a mild steel with aluminium coating system is fine. SS costs double that of mild steel, and your only really paying for bling

I have just 3inch catback, anymore, and you will need to get a tune.

As noted by BigWillieStyles, probably best to get a tune after the TBE install to maximise the mod so you may want to add that to your costs.

If it is just some sound you are after, take it to an exhaust shop and remove the rear muffler and get them to replace it with a straight out pipe that mounts in the original holes.

It cost me about $70 to get done, My car has a nice note and its still very quiet now. This only slightly richened up the AFR's too.

I did it for the time being just so i could hear my car, and its awesome

You can see similar to what it will sound like just by disconnecting the rear muffler and going for a drive. Then with the pipe on it its a cleaner sound

Was that custom?

I will be looking at doing the full exhaust on mine later on this year.
