Liberty B4 Blow off Valve

Hey,

I'm looking to buy a BOV to put onto my B4. Was looking at this on ebay.

does anyone know if this will fit my B4. The mount looks the same as the standard thats in at the momment.

Also, has anyone else have this model and if so, does it sound alright??

By the look in the Pic its a wrx mount. Looks like a triangle mount. But if you buy it autobarn or a performance shop can order you the right base...

Edit: or email and ask if they can send you one with a B4 base...

Apparently the WRX mount fits the B4's... Well thats what I've been told.

The Wrx one is different to the B4 it does fit with moding the mount etc ive had a STI wrx top mount with a stock B4 BOV but had to make an adapter plate...so its not a direct bolt up...

I believe this is correct, but the advice you have is for the GC8 wrx fitment which is different to the one that you have posted from ebay which is from the later GD.

GD or GC8 BOV base is Triangle Style 2hole Shape the B4 BOV is 2hole shape but does not have a Triangle bit down the bottom...I went down this search before i put my copy of the STI cooler on and the plate needs to be modded. so i bought a GFB BOV that was for a WRX and thats on my B4 now...

GC8 99-00 is the same BOV as the B4
I've gone through AVO, GFB, turbosmart with adapter and stock 99-00 wrx/sti BOV and they are the same with my B4 Intercooler

I just changed the intercooler to the v6 STi and the B4 BOV fits fine

GD MY01+ is the triangle base, I've got a friend that has the 02 sti and tried to use his stock bov, this doesn't fit

plus If you go into GFB website the part number for the B4 MY 99-00 WRX and STI is the same, new model T9000 old model 1016

I've got both the stock bov of gc8 and b4 in front of me, the ONLY different is where the connection to the manifold is facing
when mounted the B4 is more vertical (12 o'clock) gc8 face more right (about 2 o'clock)

Mate , not to tell you what to do but get a GFB respons, t9000# if my memory serves me correct , only because of the full plumback option it gives,
my b4 gives a fairly large sneeze at 2000rpm and can get quiet annoying,poking around city streets, but every no and then i turn it up to 75% atmosphere so i can hear it screaming when i go charging threw the corners!!!

i had to re plumb my vac lines aswell
