Hi Guys,

Stumbled on the site purely by chance, Somehow through Google. I am Matt, but you can all call me turtlez or turtz, what ever you find easier smile

I currently drive a 1992 Ford Falcon GL, this car has served its perpose, being my trash car, the car is built for it, and doing 250K km's is not a bad effort for an old work horse.

Today I placed a deposit on a 2003 Gen3 Liberty, which I will be able to pick up after chrissy, Can't wait. I am even going to learn a manual transmission for the liberty.

I work for the goverment as an ICT Apprentice, its good work, can't wait till its all over.

So to end my introduction, I will enjoy some cruising with my new liberty, and If there are anymore liberators from the ACT, send me an email, maybe we can get together for a cruise or something similar.

welcome mate, good work on learning Manual big_smile youll enjoy driving a whole lot more once you  are confident with it (that is when your not stuck in peak traffic and using the clutch 15 times to cover a grand 5m LOL).

Welcome mate, from a fellow newcomer (and former) Lib driver. Looks like we might have to get the ACT scene back into gear.

Hook up with a combined GTRydaz/Ozliberty cruise.

Thanks guys,

yeah it is somewhat of a step up from the 92 model Ford, will miss the red rocket and its trashability.

Manual's make driving fun, I feel the same way in the Manual as I did learning to drive for the first time. I just want to jump in the car and drive till there is no money left for petrol smile

I will keep in touch, especially for cruise days, may even dipple in some track days, seems like the in thing these days.
