Lib GT-B owner - Melb

  Top of Page

Hi All,

Been reading the posts the last couple of months, have just got around to the intro.  Bought a MY07 Lib t/b STI M6 end of November last year.  Managed to pick up an ex demo with low k's, had only been registered for a month.  Loving it!  This is my 2nd turbo Suby.  Last one was a MY99 wrx, modified with 185 atwkw, which I replaced with an S15, modified and ended up with 170 odd atw, but wasn't the same feel as the suby   Before that had a Integra VTI-R, and a Galant VR-4 before that!

Had a brief flirtation with euro cars, and now gladly back in a suby again and loving it!!

Thats about it smile

Cheers
Chris

$40 will also get you a bottle of vodka/Jagermeister/etc or a slab of beer*. A short-shifter will do dick-all on your cars except give you something else to put in your sig. You could also spend your money better by inserting the $40 up your own arse. You'd certainly get more out of it that way.

Haven't taken any recent pics, however here's a pic after it was detailed @ final inspection:

Since then all I've done is change the grille to the JDM GT-B Grille.  Mods in the pipeline smile.  Put in a HKS panel filter for now, need to do the resorectamy one of these days..

Little Steve!!  I heard you were in a Suby!  Did you get rid of the VW?  Hopefully make it to a track day, my weekends are fairly busy usually, otherwise catchup one night at a meet or something..

Damian never fails to get a car looking good. What products did he use and did it take long?

Yeah, he did a class job, and very reasonable prices too!

he had to do a stage 2.. after the dealers attempt at a detail!!  Took a day - dropped off at 8am, was ready by 5.

Menzerna FF for the polish - 2 passes
Swissvax Onyx for the LSP

I do a top up after every 2nd wash with OCW (Optimum Car Wax).

Need to get myself an RO so I can start doing the bi-annual polish n wax myself.
