Legacy Tuned by STI Japan

  Top of Page

New Tuned by STI in Japan has been accounced for about a month. Didn't really see it mentioned here though. Release next february and featuring more goodies than Aust version (to be expected anyway)

The most interesting part is the front strut brace with dampening. This supposedly give a more progressive bracing than the normal. It was highly acclaimed as a rear bracing in their specially tuned WRX (S203 IIRC)

Anyway, if this is a repost from elsewhere then sorry, a quick search only net aust version topics.

I think its only mainly Australia and America that use the 2.5L.... Japan still uses the 2.0L as does NZ for the Turbo Models

I like the black brembos too, suits the legacy image much better than the gold ones.

LOL nice work big_smile yeah NZ is both good and bad for cars.. good considering they get as you said the Jap spec cars instead of the ADM de-tuned versions, but then there is the grey imports OMG :suicide2:  im working through a list right now of NZ grey imports trying to make sense of them for our data... NZ just has too many imports LOL STOP IT GUYS IT MAKES MY JOB HARDER!! :suicide:

yeah it is rather odd.. we get the JDM cars, you can bring almost anything into the country(in terms of cars, good luck importing anything animal/plant based:)).. also we have extremely lax emission controls, you can decat your exhaust with no problem, yet we pride ourselves on being a clean green country and rely heavily on eco-tourism..

we are bringing in some new laws regarding imports next year.. but im not really sure what it is.. either something to do with emissions or the age of the cars..

how many people actually live in NZ? (My guess is 4) could be a good reason you can drive polluting mofo's and still have a good eco system.

Do you guys have tree huggin hippy greenies? or do you still lynch those types?

I second that, and move to motion a Class action, sighting gross neglect for public  well being.

*sigh*

JDM Legacy > AUDM Liberty.

regardless of engine capacity.

AUDM 2.5L T is sad, really. No offence, but in comparison to the JDM ones, its upsetting, really.

I would absolutely love to bypass the liberty for a legacy for a gen4. I would absolutely love to. But I think the import laws have now changed dramatically.

Interestingly (and crazily ONTOPIC) the sti website has the 'B4' moniker on that new version..  niiice..

Also, that 'S402' has no bonnet scoop?  sad
