I resigned from work this morning. In a little under 5 weeks I finish up, then around the 14th or 15th of June I'm driving up to Queensland. To live.

I'll be in Maroochydore, close enough to view the girls on the beach with help from binoculars, and 7.5km from Subiworx, going by Whereis. For work I'll be living/working at m1 Resort ( www.m1resort.com.au ) with my parents, and from memory be also working at a place called Twin Waters.

Fingers crossed these Firestone Wide Oval tyres I'm having installed in an hour hold up well in the wet season.

Fear not, I won't be suckered in to drink XXXX, however I may attend an NRL game or 3.

As for car insurance, from $690 to $388 is not bad at all.

Checked out some plates, I can get LEG25 or LIB25 for around $440. Custom plates are *cough* $2195. A joke, I know.

Anyways, it's been great to meet all you Melbournites. Might have to have a final cruise. I have the next 5 weekends off, though I've a concert this Sat/Sun and have 1 overnight shift on June 2nd.
