Its not the immobilizer, its the stupid frikken Brant alarm system that you'll have problems with. Brant's website claim this <clicky clicky> turbo timer will do the job, but from memory the hks type-1 turbo timers do too...but they are $300+ or some crap.

Do yourself a favour and rip the Brant system out, I garentee that will be the most frustrating part of your new ride...it was for me!!

Agree'd...its definately not worth that amount of money!

With my B4, I just take it easy (less than 2,000rpm/off boost) for my last 2-3 minutes of driving, then let it idle for 30 seconds...

yeah 98 only, 95 makes them drive horribly. But alot of them do ping in hot weather even with 98. There seems to be some worse than others.

Dont bother with the turbo timer, all i've heard about them from people who work on subies is that there a waste of time in newer cars. Just take it easy before you stop, it's not worth the money to buy or the huge amount of cash you will waste on petrol.
