I have the same wagon..  they're a nice ride..  bet your wheels hit your gaurds occaisionally huh?  Mine's not even lowered and it scrubs..

It's a manual and I have had the wheels scrub a couple of times seen as it has sti struts and king low springs.

One thing I have noticed is it has a very bad flat spot when accelerating? don't know if thats the turbo's changing or what, as it has standard turbos but a PROVA ECU. Apart from that it has very good down low acceleration.

the flat spot, welcome to whats known as the valley of death As you guessed, its the change-over point between primary only range and sec+pri range. A "valley" of 200rpm is great, anything over 700rpm i'd call pretty bad - so if you're between that range then all is working as per normal.

The guy I bought it off (Damian) brought it in as a personal import last year and he said that they only had to change the selt belts and that was pretty much it.

The struts I think are wrx sti with low springs in it, that's probably why there isn't any available for the gen3???
