from the little description there sounds really good mate.

but u can never tell until you drive it.
when i was in the market for one, there were a couple that looked great until i sat behind the wheel! advertised for ~$9000 and i wouldntve offered them $5k.

Good luck with it! smile

get a nrma inspection that should give you an idea. Or buy a gc8 for the same money. More fun cheaper parts, na 2.5 are slow heavy

Sold my 1997 liberty lx wagon for $6750 last year. It had done 172000kms I think and one of the cylinders was misfiring slightly and the tyres were nearly completly bald big_smile. So I'd say yeah it's a good price. Even if it is maroon smile

gen 2 or 3? RX? if gen3 RX sound alright. www.redbook.com.au is good for comparison. be careful with lady owners they gen don't get things fixed till they brake. Agree with s401 NRMA inspection is excellent idea. that'll tell ya everything. well worth the bucks.

if its 2.5 Litre - it must be RX - then i would be looking at that good price!!!
if its 2.0 litre then its a GX - would try drop to 7k then would be a good price. I'm also in market of looking at 2000/2001 Gen3 Liberty for my wife.
Cheers
