got a few questions about programming key!

To start with, i went to swim with the key in mypocket. I thought it was waterproof. but obversity not!!! what a idiot!!
So, after swimming, the keyless entery doesnt work, but the immobiliser still working??

So, if you buy a new or second hand keyless entery circuit, can i program it myself? i think the answer is yes!!
the truth question is, if you buy a new or second hand immobiliser chip, can you program it your self , and how?
Over the internet, I found some instructions like pushing lock or unlock button within 15sec etc, is that for keyless or immobiliser or both? A little bit confused.

by the way, dose anyone have a second hand keyless circuit for sell, and any cheap place to buy. want to just replace the circuit since it is easier and still 1 signle unit

by the way, i am in sydney and my car is 09 gen 4 liberty, with the teardrop shape key
