by Kevlar GT on 10-03-08 02:21 PM depends. If you are recovering from a week long sleep free binge of partying, chicks and booze then it'd be acceptable. If you are sleeping 20hrs straight because you are a bong smoking waste of space then the answer would have to be get off the cones and wake up to yourself. |

Rest assured, Kev, there hasn't been a single ounce of binge drinking, partying, or chicks. (excludes chicks under an anaesthetic). And certainly not a single bit of bong smoking. But thanks for the concern. :lazy3: Just been working the nightshifts at work, of which most have been in charge. The day following my last night shift, funnily enough, I spent back at the same hospital I work at, to be with a loved on that had been admitted. Merrick & Rosso FTW |

by theprotest on 10-03-08 03:47 PM Hi, Either that, or he works in a hospital? Be careful on catch up sleep though mate, as it will give you a feeling of being jet lagged. Cheers, Nik |

by Stig282 on 10-03-08 04:01 PM I know he works in a hospital Nick. Its exactly that that makes him a sick puppy for even suggesting in jest that he would perve on women under anaesthesia...

by CRUISN on 10-03-08 04:09 PM I work arvo shift most of the time which sees me generally in bed @ 12:30. depending on the time of year for the sunrise im up for an "early" (dawn surf) whenever its good which sees me with about 4-5 hours sleep. Do that a few times a week and your stuffed come weeks end, but i can never sleep for more than 10 hours max in one hit and that was after coming of night shift. |

by MY02B4 on 10-03-08 04:31 PM Its ridiculous. I dont think i've slept that much even when i'm sick but my brother once slept more than 24hrs cos he was sick. You can imagine how confused he was when he woke up and lost one day. |

I too once thought it was ridiculous. I used to be the sort that never ever routinely slept for more than eight hours max, more like an average of six to seven. A weekend sleep in was twelve. But working night shift has messed me up something fierce. And waking up just hours ago, and counting the hours on my hand, makes me feel almost like I've achieved a personal best time. Nik's on the money though. I feel like ****. I feel like I'm Jetlagged. Is beer a good remedy? |
