Intro from ME

  Top of Page

Hi all, I just signed upto the forum to gain a little info before making the plunge into buying a new car (for me any way). Currently own a MY00 RX Liberty which has served me well, but it is time for a upgrade.

As I have been happy with the liberty( keeping it for a 2nd car) I am keen to sick with the Liberty. After looking at the offerings from holden and Ford  in sedan form with either a 6t or 8 I am not impressed with the build quality, or anything else for that matter.

So my question is GT or 3.0r??? Looking at 04/05 price range
I want more performance than I have now with the view of some minor mods to come. Research seems to point to the gt being the better car for this.

I tend to keep my cars for longer than most if I AM HAPPY WITH THEM.

I see the GT as the car for me, but happy to hear opinions

G'day Dean,

Welcome to the forum mate. I'd suggest having a read/trawl through the GENIV section and see what you can see. There are a few posts with similar queries.

Good luck with it mate.

Ok first things first to sell the current car. BUT need advise on how much to ask

MY00 RX Auto Sedan in White
220k klms
Well maintained in great condition for age.
CV's front wheel bearings done 12months ago
Wear in drivers side carpet, otherwise interior is great. Stone chips on bonnet and front bar, typical for age. Brand new tyres 1 month ago.

So what should I be asking for a easy sale ?
