The reason is, the OEM items actually fire the pullses into each other, i know this utterly stupid and i myself cant understand why this is

Nice oval sports muffler will fix it..  You'll love it..  My wagon has a diff back 2.5" in 4" out and sounds sweet..  no drone..

4 inch tip does it for me...

i have a set of headers now. have a full zorst now too that i need to get rid off. shame your in sidanee but.

Uneven headers are what will give you that burble. like paul said his style wont fit the rx due to the xmember. same thing happened with my styled ones so i had them modified to fit.

I dont mind the exhaust at the back at all, Actually I quite like it,  but the sound seems very hollow and the buuuur while accelerating is really giving me the shi#s. Suprauc, why do you say the pod will do more harm than good? I notice much cleaner revs and smoother accel, also the insulation would keep hot engine bay air out and suck cool air in from the intake hole made by Subaru, no? I do like the sound of it, but I like performance better....

that hollow sound is also due to the fact the zorst is still clean. Meaning the carbon that is in the exhaust gases hasnt lined the metal hence the harsh sound. once it does line it, you will notice the car sounds smoother than tinnie

wont the turbo ones fit? i dont know how these boxer engines work, but arent the turbo headers the same but they utilise an up-pipe to go from headers to turbo instead of going straight to the exhaust?

The zorst place bought them from X-force. X-force said they were a direct fit. they weret so they modded them and xforce got the bill
