by d_generate on 22-02-07 08:17 AM Most people seem to recommend Subaru Mandurah & Ozzy park & say to stay away from City Subaru in Vic Pk, but...........:Dntknw: |

Peel is always the cheapest, but is a bit of a drive... Ozzy Park is where I would be going if you can't get down to peel. red blitzen's are awesome - the wheels are just sweet! Cheers, Nik |

by Stig282 on 22-02-07 02:42 PM Shouldn't be too bad getting down to Mandurah, the motherinlaw lives in Dawesville so am down there fairly regular anyway.

by theprotest on 22-02-07 02:54 PM I couldn't say exactly how much cheaper but a good mate of mine, who sells cars at one of the previously mentioned dealers, assured me it would be worthwhile making the trip to peel.

by Stig282 on 22-02-07 04:56 PM re modding - I'm not sure, I guess I would want to drive it first and see how it goes.

by Stig282 on 28-02-07 02:38 PM well I was passing by with a couple of hours to spare yesterday, so i popped in to City Subaru to get a pricing quote. Had a good chat to the guy and came out with a reasonable figure for leasing quote, and a pretty good idea of just what extras I want on the GT-B.

by Stig282 on 20-03-07 02:12 PM Peel don't have any GTb's in for me to test drive  anyway personal circumstances prevent me from buying right now - still damn interested though. |

by Stig282 on 20-03-07 05:11 PM I still want the Lib - I will still be leasing it - seems the most cost effective way of going about getting a car like that. I just need to wait for my permanent visa to be approved before I can get a lease. I also need to convince the wife:girl_devi that the new GTb will be worth it as it could be around $1200 a month all in (insurance, servicing, fuel etc).

by WhiteRX on 20-03-07 06:10 PM Bugger! _ Oh well, patience is a virtue! I know that when it comes time to upgrade the RX, I'll be going for a GT b-spec wagon - they are tops! |

by ruprectdeonkeyboy on 22-03-07 09:01 PM I went looking around a few places after a new rex before i bought my liverty 2 months ago. I found the sales reps in most places in perth were absolute tools who really knew nothing about the cars they were selling (i had to tell one about the WRP10 and new WRX tuned by STI!). That said, the guys at Melville were excellent. Knew heaps, weren't pushy, generally great guys.

You just outlined the number one down side
Also I don't think the heritage has a rear wing does it? Apart from that a very nice car though. |
