by 2.5_liberty on 20-11-10 09:23 PM okay well, since I got the car 5 months ago (2005 Manual 2.5n/a Lib) the clutch used to screech here and then on a take off, I ignored it thinking it was a dual mass clutch characteristic... Then it started making squeaking noises on idle if the clutch was out (clutch bearing), now tonight I did a 4th gear to 3rd down change and it made a very loud grinding noise..... NOT GOOD!

by 2.5_liberty on 27-11-10 01:09 AM need help again! Got my new exedy clutch kit put in and on the second day in 27 degree heat its starts to slip? I haven't even been thrashing it the only way i know is that i went to over take on the freeway and it slipped it's head off but when its cold in the mornings or evenings it doesn't slip??? |

It is difficult to engage gear (biting point is almost non-existant) Put your foot down when drivign and nothing will happen (as if you're putting your foot on the clutch) |
