I now heed the message to introduce myself.

Hi Gents/Gentettes

This is my first post on the forum although I have been reading it for a long time. Something wrong with my account stopped me being able to do much until it was sorted a while back but then work set in.

Gotta say I Love the forum and "roll" with the same name on a few other Subaru and turbo forums in the past. Also that without these forums our love for Subies would be a much more expensive tale. The sharing of knowledge and experience help us all get more, for cheaper, out of our AWD weapons of mass acceleration ( and frustration to other drivers).

What do I drive:

Currently I own a VS V8 ute, a YZF1000R and my pride and joy a MY05 GT manual wagon. Had quite a few Subes with a MY03 WRX and lesser Scubes before this. Many of my friends have followed suit so Subaru should almost be paying me a retainer;). My wife has fallen for these cars also so looking for an upgrade from a sportswagon to a GT-B legacy wagon in near future. She will be driving heaps for new job and what better a way to ensure overtaking is done with minimal effort.

If you got this far, this is me and thanks for having me watch and soon chime in on the forum. Some great cars here and much experience, and humour.

Nig

Thanks for the hello fatcat(sorry, up late due to body clock failing).

Yeah it went out of warranty last month which is nice. It needs a few things to bring the @ss around like the WRX did (sway bar might be all i need). But only a bit more power as it has adequate for it weight and purpose. Happy with how it runs as it is used as a GT should. I commute 230km each way to work twice a week so it is all comfort, grip and all weather handling for me. The GT kicks the WRX in this sort of job. WRX shines in other areas.

Wife's next car is what I am living for. With a GT_B or RS there is little or no decrease in resale for modifications and a bit more well known. Libertys/Legacies are for me (age 32):give_hear. Sad icon used.
