Hey all,

I know that I've really only just joined you guys but I don't know how you're ganna feel about me not actually owning a Liberty any more... sad

My wife and I just put a deposit on another Outback (MY06) and have decided to sacrifice the GenII Lib *insert tears here*.  I will be taking over the MY00 Outback while the Missus takes control of the new beast of our fleet.

just wondering too if anyone knows if there are any Australian Outback forums.... all I can find is subaruoutback.org.

Outback/liberty = same diff mate. Your still welcome :p I've never seen an outback specific forum before??

Outback is just a tall Liberty mate, apart from the suspension all the parts are the same. No hard feelings wink

Hi,

From a fellow Outback owner, worry less mate. I haven't found any site more helpful for Outback knowledge than this one. I have an MY05 3.0R so if there is anything I can help with, give me a yell.

As mentioned, apart from some thicker control arms, and a higher ride, there's no mechanical differences between the two.

Outbacks are definitely welcome! Im looking at selling my RX and getting a MY02/03 OBK in the near future myself.
Ive looked around for a specific forum too and subaruoutback.org is the only one i found. Though they are international.
