I graduate from uni in May and have decided I should probably do something with my life to pay back my un-godly amount of funds in student loans...

I'm basically up for moving anywhere...and anywhere I visit I like...I went to Oz over the summer/your winter and loved it.  I spent time in Darwin, Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney, Fraser Island, and an occasional stop here and there...  I really liked the Brisbane area down towards Sydney (I can't handle the hot and humid weather of the north).

However I started looked at jobs, applying and all that kind of good stuff.  However I'm clueless about a few things that are rather general...

To get a work visa do you have to have a job first, be a resident or????  Also I think I face a slight disadvantage as being foreign but wanted to just ask what all is involved in moving to Oz other than finding an apt and buying a plane ticket
