Its worked for 30yrs so far! i also had one on my Vh never had an issue with it.

Well i cant say how much my old man has had this Valued at, but lets just say, its worth around as much as a new lib....

He paid $800 for it in 1987, approx 8-9 months before i was born.

If it's a 308/M21, and restored accurately, then it will see $40k real easy.  As the months & years roll by it will just keep on going up & up.

Less than a year ago, HQ GTS 350 manuals (saginaws) were at $35k for a really good one, and they are now well above that.

Plans are, to restore it with mild engine work.

Its a Genuine GTS 308 4speed.
Its just been repainted, in the original Metalic Purple.  The color wont devalue it much if at all, try getting hold of one!
Its even got the original motor.
Unfortunatly the m21 went to Gbox heaven in about 1977, as was the style of the times.

The 308 will put down 300hp+ (250kw?) standing on its head, at around 4000rpm.  Dad just wants it to be a comfy cruiser that has some balls when he wants them.
We've chosen to use a w57 5speed gearbox.
