My story began three weeks before my driving test. I handed over the cheque and it was at that point of time I had bought my first car, and she was a silver 1999 Subaru Liberty RX. Four months into my driving career, I stumbled upon this gem of a website regarding Liberties, and will seek its advice over the time to come.

I'm Nick, I'm 17, pretty much just began my HSC course so I got a long road ahead. Work 25 hours/week at Toys R Us (twice as much during holidays) and I am in love with Liberty's, so much so that I bought one!

She's got 202,000km on her, a nice set of 18" mags, body is in close to mint condition, ignoring a few scratches (hey, it isn't bad for an 11 year old car) and I am quite proud of my purchase for a measly $6000! Although it did need a bit of work which I got done very cheap due to a family friend owing favours.







Car came with new system JVC system, am buying a 12" sub + amp from my brother in law in a couple weeks. Nothing doof doof, it just lacks in bass.
I've installed a cat back exhaust system which gives it a nice Subaru burble.
Replaced all the interior lights with LED's so nice and bright now.
Changed side indicators from orange to clear.
Furthermore plans include the following.. when I actually have some time to do them (fucking school, and if I'm not at school I'm working.)

club.liberty.asn.au were a good community but just not enough activity, as well as a lack of gen3's
