How easily things can go wrong...

  Top of Page

I found this while looking through another forum and it has really shown me how easily things can go wrong on the road, especially when you are having a spirited drive, and the effect it can have on other people.

I encourage everyone to have a read of this thread, and to the story that 10 pence short has to tell.

We had a mechanic working for us who was riding on the highway one day, lady coming the other way thought it would be a great idea to start playing with her radio and not the road ahead....... just as they were about to pass each other she went straight onto the other side of the road and hit him..... messed him up big time.... we lost a great mech at the time and put him into hospital for a long time. almost 10 years down the track and he has just come back to work, and for us once again.
In one sense he was lucky that he was lucky to be able to come back and work once again.

He lost control, was in an integra type R. Had nearly stopped moving by the time the bike hit him. There's pictures a few pages further in.

Did anyone else read on to his diary of the first few days in Prison, and the response he got from the biker? If not please do it. Very sobering reading, i'm pretty sure it'll change my driving style.

Thanks to the OP.

I couldn't stop reading it! Totally agree that it's going to have some impact on the way I conduct myself on the road. Tracks days for screwing around will be the go.
