Yeah, you deffinately get your money's worth and big bang for your bucks when you throw cash at an Evo or Skyline.

I rekon you could probably throw double that at a WRX STI and still have a bit of a rough time trying to get those figures.

My Brother just bought an EVO9 in Canberra(living there ATM), and is loving it. His is bog standard with the luxury pack. He says it hammers, but he says mine goes a fair bit stronger than his in normal driving.
New EVOX isn't supposed to be cast iron block or closed deck, so I don't know how that will go when it comes time to do serious power mods.

I agree (not just liberty's but subies in general), my next car's guna be an evo or gtr I think.

I can get around 250-270kw atw with 10k poured into mine, however on stock internals it's not the best thing to do. And stock 5 speed as well.

My mate ran an 11.90 in his VL last week haha, only 250rwkw on street radials. For the money spent noway you'll get a wrx running those times. He thinks low to mid 11s with decent tyres on it.

Also saw a lancer gsr on sat night with around 240kw atw, fried up all fours easily and sounds more discreet compared to the subaru's burble. In a relatively light car too.

So unless subaru pull something out of the hat i'll probably jump ship. Probably an evo 11 will be out by the time my finance is done.

Don't bother comparing and Evo to a Lib, different cars for different tasks.

In one of those high performance dvds you see them break the gearbox of a new evo quite easily. Also getting a car to run 11's down the quarter is hard,i know someone who spent 25k on a lotus and it only runs 12's.

But in saying that im selling my rex and my next performance car will prob be an evo

Its currently getting complied, should be here next week.  Once that is done, he is taking the evo and im takin my lib to the track to see wat happens.

Only a flash tune that APC provide themselves, unsure of cooler they use.

I think the evo 7,8,9 are all very similar altho tuners prefer evo 9s as u can adjust the stock cams apparently.
