I find exetel to be pretty good. The prices are ok, but they're reliable and have decent download quotas.

check out www.internode.on.net and www.iinet.com.au

both ranked 1&2 on whirlpool forums out of all aussie ISP's

I've had both and they are both good, the only reason i changed from internode to iinet was because iinet is the only company that can give me adsl2+ smile  $60/month for 60Gb downloads and 24000/1024 speed.

all you really need is an ADSL modem.. thats about it.. if you're just going to have the net on one computer in your household..

if you plan to hook up more than one computer.. then it would be best to get an ADSL modem/router.. you can get these in wireless too.. to avoid all the LAN cable running through your house..

Sometimes we just need to remember what the rules of life really are:
You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape
If it doesn't move and should, use WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use Duct Tape.
