HID for low, high beams and fog lights

  Top of Page

Just a question regarding HID Xenon headlights.

I was thinking if you want to do both your high and low beams do you require 2 sets of HID's?

And what about fog lights, I'm thinking it would look kinda silly with HID low beams and then halogen everything else....

Any thoughts on this?

BTW:  I am n00b at this stuff.

hey, i have hids in my low beam, not bothering about high beam cause its not good for the hids to flick on and off all the time.

im just gonna get some bluish high beam halogens. and yes if you were going to have them in high and low beam you'd need 2 sets of hids.

I love you, thanks for clearing that up... now I will purchase my set.

I also agree with the high beam halogen bulbs.

Thanks wink

You don't need two-sets of HIDs for high beams.

And get HID fogs as well, if your willing and able to pay for it. But don't get a blue fog light. A 3000K gold/yellow look blends nice with a bluey/white look, IMO.

if you want hids in both low and high beams, them you will need a set for the low beam and a set for the high beam. Cause i think that model liberty has H7 for lows and H1 for high beam. so you'll need a ballast for each one.
