Hi fellow Libertarians,
I've been an owner of a second hand 99 RX for over two years now and hadn't had a problem with an overall stock standard factory 2.5 litre model.....
That was until the 150k $750+ major service at Subaru docklands (I'm only at 140k)

$2.5k later I'm back on the road! Funny for a car that's only worth about $13k?

Apparently Subaru Mentone forgot to inform me that I was purchasing a car that had been in a major accident. Two wheels were weld repaired and the front cross bar was bent.

Anyway, the major service cost $940 (incl two new tyres....sounds like that Simpsons episode ai? Stem lube...wtf is that?), I went back into docklands for the genuine part $640 and have since purchased 4 new Advanti wheels $820. I will post the other two wheels which are perfect and have barely any scratches on them for a couple o hundred each if anyone wants em.

Sorry for the immense detail...but my family all own Subaru's and we've loved them but it goes to show, don't buy em' second hand from official dealerships!
