by theprotest on 01-07-08 06:17 PM Hi, Considering I live in Willyabrup mate, and I'm the state rep (here and GtRydaz), you're a little bit off there I'm afraid. You might have seen me 'round a few years ago in a JDM Forester import. Or perhaps more recently in a white B4 with twin tip exhaust? My mate drives a bugeye WRX wagon, a few perth-wrx guys live in Busselton, Cowaramup and Margaret River. Along with a couple of the GtRydaz boys. I have to agree with you though, the 5-0 don't even blink when you cruise past in a well kept import. Mainly because down here they realise a clapped out VL with 18's slapped on it is a far more dangerous prospect than someone who's taken care of their car. Nowadays I'm kicking around in a standard Outback. The Outback has stronger suspension components (control arms etc.) so it was my choice for the terrain down here. That being said, I've already done the coilover/bilstein thing, so I wouldn't blame you for wanting to have a bit of a kidney shaker! Maybe you should keep something open for the weekend referred to in my signature - meet some of the Subaru crew! Cheers, Nik |
