hi all,

iv had my 97 liberty heritage for 6 months now, , its only had one previous owner an old couple so hasnt been thrashed and full service history , all and all its been great for a stock car full leather momo sports steering wheel,  only problems so far is the airflow meter packed it in , other than that its been  fine . Just a question for any one that reads this, with my car being stock is there much of a power increase if i put a 3" exhaust on it and and more flowing intake system

any help would be much appreciated

welcome to ozlib! great car you have there!
im not one to know alot about engines/exhausts and what not but ive read around that 2.5" should be the maximum for an NA.
most of us have a 2.25" i have found out and its fine! anything bigger than 2.5 without a turbo doesnt give enough back pressure.

have a search around the forum for more info!

oh and another thing that pic u posted in ur msg is that the skillion at teriggal look familiar i used to live on the central coast

welcome mate, definitly dont go bigger than 2.25", 3inch is for turbo's and bigger capacity engines than a 2.5L

sorry camoshop, that pic (with all the other libs in it) is at catherine hill bay! wow it really does look like terrigal now i look at it! the skillion to the right and the other carpart with the cafe there to the left and the oval right behind! lol

haha its all good i could swear it was terrigal , is thurs nights still on in terrigal used to go there a few years back then head up to peats ridge for drags
