Hi guys. Another new Subaru owner

  Top of Page

Hi Guys,

Just thought I'd say hello. I have very recently picked up my brand new Liberto 3.0 Spec B wagon. So far so good but I already noticed that this car is very thirsty smile .

I look forward to reading your posts.

Cheers

Welcome to the forums moose.

You should notice fuel economy increases as the engine loosens up. Nice car, hope you enjoy driving it :victory:  Lets see some pics big_smile

As far as fuel consumption goes then I did a run from SYdney to Wagga Wagga and back today. Some 900km in total. I managed to get 8.8lt/100km on the way down and 8.4lt/100km on the way back. A good 95% of this journey was on a highway cruising at around 110 to 130 at times smile .

Are these the sort of figures that you guys are getting from a 3.0R spec B manual???

So far I think this car is great although a couple of little minor things are annoying.  Such as the water bottle holders in the manual version are useless as the bottle gets in the way of changing gears but serve great as loose change and lollie holders.  The other very minor thig that I would change is to have the volume control on the right hand side of the steering wheel rather than the left.  Just my funny preference.

Great car.  I look forward to driving it some more :-)
