Hi everyone,

I am the unlucky purchaser of a second hand 04 GT liberty that decided to throw a big end bearing and burnout the turbo.

I have since paid $5000 for a new short engine and had it fitted only to find out the VF38 twinscroll turbo is damaged beyond repair.

Could anyone help with
1) finding a 2nd hand VF38 turbo
2) info on bolting on the VF34 wrx upgrade turbo ( will i need to replace the computer etc?)

Im told a new VF38 is in excess of $4000, so i am looking at a used option. However this is very hard to find.

I found a VF34 on ebay, new for $1375, i am inclined to purchase this rather then wait for a VF38. But am not interested in wasting thousands more on computer upgrades!

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated
