Hi and suggestion

Hey guys, nice forum. I've been keen on buying a liberty for a while so I came here and read people thoughts.

Anyway i also would like to hear your suggestions on a liberty im looking to buy. I want to spend 10,000-12,500 and keen on buying 99 model 3rd gen one I saw in carsales. It's GX not RX but i dont mind..

Most people are saying to me its done too many KM's. What you think people? Is it worth going to check out for? The guy lives a little far from me, so i wanna make sure it worth the journey...

and that is a decent looking lib for a good price

Sold the Subaru, replaced it with a Honda.. but all I know is Subaru's! (and Holden V8's of course):secret:

Looks alright mate but with most cars, I'd get the top model but in this case i'm not saying you should get a B4. In the end u have better resale.

Not sure what the annual average kms for sydney but in melb i think its aorund 23000kms/yr so assuming is the same, that one doesn't have high kms. It says full log books so you just gotta check if they service on time and if they did anything themselves, what brands they used etc. As long as its been looked after, dont worry about the mileage altho i understand where you're coming from. You have to do a second major service in a yr and a bit if you buy it now.

Hurtsville lol where do you go for cruises im out every night cruising (Well almost every night).. What about yourself where you from? and yeh its a clean looking lib good for the price and its a manual im unsure of the differences between the gx and the rx i love my rx to pieces but uncertain of what qualities differ.

Yeh average is aroud 15k-20k kms per year and this has done around 18-19k kms per year I guess. Thanks good to see that i wasn't the only ne liking the price.

I think rx is 2.5L and gx is either 2.0L or 2.2L.
So in the end RX is more powerful in kW.
