Hi guys,

Had my Liberty since October 2007. It's a MY05 3L R-B 6M (regal blue). Loving this car no end.

Before the Liberty was a Holden man, owning 3 different Calais in 3 years. Last one was a 5.7L V8 modded to 220kw at the wheels, but a bus wrote that off... Thought it was time for a change so got the Liberty.

No power mod plans as I have been there and done that with the V8, but thinking of installing a nice touch screen computer system. Just in the planning stage atm...

Don't know if I am fully converted, I still want the new HSV Monaro when it comes out, if I can afford it (2 door VE commo on the Camaro platform).

The Liberty is a very enjoyable drive though, only complaint I have is that the sunroof surround trim thingy doesn't fit properly, otherwise this car is a lot better than any of the commos I had, or driven.

Sold the Subaru, replaced it with a Honda.. but all I know is Subaru's! (and Holden V8's of course):secret:

haha ofcourse I will want another V8 (as long as its HSV Monaro), I still miss the torque and the rumble! AWD feels so nimble though, like a gokart compared to the Calais (even though I had shocks, springs and sway bars done in the monster)!

parra meet? I live in parra :ninja:

EDIT: oh and parra is junkie-ville! my first Commo was stolen from there...

Oh, there will be no more "monaro's" either. No 2 door VE's coming out AFAIK. closest thing your going to get is when holden sell the camaro in '09.

from what I read up, the 2 door VE is coming out late 2008, have also seen spyshots of the test mule. Was white, shorter than the normal commo, on a tow truck, don't think I have saved the pics. They only stopped the VT/VX monaro's, they never said anything about stopping monaro forever... :new_russi

I think you're right, I seem to recall reading that the Monaro would be back in VE form when they discontinued the last one...
