:help: hey all i need a bit of advice/help here,

im thinkin of upgrading my exhaust but i kno in the future i want to put in a turbo, shuld i do both at the same time, or do one before the other i kno i'll need a new exhaust to handle the turbo and all, im jw if i shuld do it all at the same time or is it esier doin it step by step?

The exhausts will be completely different nearer to the engine. If you want to put a turbo on you will be advised in most cases to get a 3 inch system from the turbo back to the tail pipe. This however dosen't work on a N/A car, 3 inch is way to large. You will need no more than a 2.5inch system from your exhaust manifold back for a N/A engine.

Do it all at once, otherwise u will be paying for things twice......unfortunately i found out the hard way.

aight kewl thnks guys,
i was jst wondering, wat bout the brakes obviously they would need to be upgrade too, i was recommended brembo brakes would be suitable.
what do u guys think?

You've obviously got a fair bit of money to throw at this car if your looking at Brembo's already. A set of WRX 4 pots with good pads and rotors should pull a light Gen 1 up very well, and be about $2000 cheaper.

If you got the $$ for Brembos, go for it.  But for a daily car, imo changing the pads should suffice.  I'm using Lucas and they're great, but each to their own so you should find plenty of threads regarding the types of pads other ppl here use.  g'luck.

haha tru, saving $2000 sounds better tho, i can use that money for sumtin else, i'll have a look at those WRX 4 pots.
