by BobBrumby on 08-05-08 01:19 AM Hello I just picked up a 95 liberty ej22 with 160,000km on the clock. Unfortunately its povo pack just fwd. Just wont to ask about brake upgrades: I read Forester xt brakes are good, and have seen one in a wreckers. What do I need to pull? Caliper braket aswell? Or Does the caliper just bolt onto the gen2 bracket? Rotor direct change? What sized Wheels do I need to clear the caliper? Cheers |

by d_generate on 08-05-08 01:25 AM Welcome, calipers & discs are a direct swap & most wheels should cover them, pretty sure even 15" steelies will. |

Standard gen2 LX GX calipers are POS one pot 266mm. your correct with the RX and early wrx are the same also. right about the Xt and later model WRX (four pots on late model rex) |
