This is an introduction post from Clubman, so called because I have a PRB Clubman (replica Lotus 7) that I built from a kit in 1994. Last month I bought a 2004 manual Liberty GT for many reasons; one being that it tows the PRB to Supersprints.
Only problem that I have with the Liberty is that sometimes the engine check light comes on with a flashing cruise control light.
I’m an old Subaru lover since 1996 when I managed to get a WRX as a company car, buying it when it came up for replacement, it’s been the tow car and my sons every day car up until now. Having clocked up 250K, my son wants to upgrade to an Evo 8. The WRX is standard apart from a Hi Tek exhaust and the only problem has been the gearbox which was replaced, it still pulls as strong as new, and even towing the PRB, it can still out accelerate most normal cars when there is a reason to do so.  It’s amazing that the Turbo has lasted so long, says a lot for Shell Helix Ultra and being changed every 7500km. Originally red, I got the offer a bargain respray in maroon which may not have been my best choice as it’s a bit iffy on the rear bumper. An honest car deserves a good home, so anyone with one and about 10k should contact me.
