Hello everyone!

  Top of Page

Hi everyone,
My name is Daren, and i joined this forum after finding out about it from wikipedia. I am a Subaru owner ('00 Outback) and joined the forum to help out wherever possible.
I also joined because i took it upon myself to try and reverse engineer the Select protocol for new and old models...
I plan on using this information to make an LCD based display, that will display realtime parameters.
Currently, i have  a Select I version completed here and am just about to start working on a Select II version.
Thanks,
Daren

Welcome champ,

Good to know you like your protocols.

Have you looked at some of the ECU stuff out their that does similar gauge displays?

Interesting to see how this comes along.

Enjoy the site.

Yeah the only other product i know of is the Techtom MDM-100, which costs ~$700, and has less features.

The SubDataScan (my product) is already out there being tested on many RS', WRX's, and GT-B's, so it's coming along very nicely. smile

Hi all,
Just a quick update - I have a prototype that works really well on my '00 Outback, but would like to try it out on a turbocharged vehicle.  Any takers?
