i used to be a toyota man...had 2 corolla's and a hiace...always had a soft spot for the soarer but i switched to subaru.....hope you enjoy your subi as they are good cars...not sure if the gen1 had a double din capability...

Welcome to the forum. Only picked up my gen1 LX this arvo so don't know about the din slots.

it think most subies have a tray under the deck so should be okay for a double din....

My B4 almost done needs to be buffed and regoed maybe before the next monthly sydney meet

I feel really welcomed hehe

The car will be all mine on tuesday.
Its so stock it even has the loovers on the back window (those fin things)
They will be the first to come off, and so will the hub caps haha

I got a a list of reasonable mods that will happen


2.25" exhaust with an undefined muffler as yet
super itc ignition computer (did it on another car, with great success )
lowered with king springs
a nice set of 16" rims
whiteline 20mm rear sway bar


Should be happy with that hehe
And of course a reasonable stereo!

Little update on the car,
I got it home today. Its suprising there are NO libertys with no ticking. They all do it.

I spent 1 hour trying to figure out how to take the headunit out. It ended up being easier than i thought but still annoying.

The exhaust is getting done tommorrow so it should be good!
I decided on 2.25" catback and a redback muffler.
