HB3 Plus 50 type

Sounds spamish, but only to advise, Narva will in the next few weeks - be releasing a PLUS 50 series bulb for the HB3, currently a PLUS 30 is all they have.

Buy a UN/ECE R27 standard hazard-warning triangle for your vehicle for use at crash scenes (to prevent secondary), and at breakdowns.  Store in boot area.  I suggest Hella Part Number 2901, or, Auto Accessory Shops carrying "Pro-Kit" supplier stock - Item No. RG9212.  Cheap insurance.  Superior to AS3790 & 3790B type.  WA's crash scene text:   http://www.dpi.wa.gov.au/mediaFiles/lic … _part4.pdf

A safety suggestion, I make no money from these (don't sell them) but do advocate their requirment as mandatory, just like in Europe - one per passenger car.  Cheap insurance - work well in fog too.  Think when placed 'in advance' of a breakdown or crash scene.  Helps reduce the likelyhood of having someone not paying full attention running into a scene.

Just use commonsense when placing one, the higher the speed allowance the more 'steps' back you place it.  Built up areas typically 50 - 100metres, on high-speed roads 100 - 150 metres.

I also advocate fire extinguisher and safety vest THEN all the other stuff you tend to buy for 'fun'!

These will be mandated, one day - it's a UN desire and a damned appropriate one.

Ford Australia has the UN/ECE triangle ($46) made by Hella Finland.  An excellent product.
Mitsubishi Australia also has them, also made in Finland $20 - this is very, very very good as well.  Each has it's own storage case, including the item in my Signature.  Those with SPIDERY LEGS have the best wind resistance, solid leg types are more prone to blowing out of alignment, but the UN/ECE version types are very stable when compared to the Australian Standard.

My view is that you buy the item and sell the car with it, buy another then.

A similar Item is Hella Part No. 2901 here in AUS ($45 - 60).  The idea is to NEVER have to use it, but you just don't know.

When Subaru come on board I'll change my Signature here to promote it.
