Has this ever been attempted?

Ok this may sound a little odd but stick with me.

For some reason one of my favourite things about the Gen 2 is the RX front bar with the lower lip section having the cutouts under the driving lights.

Is there something similar for the Gen3.
If not has anyone ever attempted to put the Gen2 bar on the Gen3 or modify an existing one to fit?

If noone knows what I am on about, it's this bit:

If anyone has the time/patience/skill can someone 'shop me one up?

Get a busted RX bar, cut the bottom off. Repair as necessary.
You may need to put a wee curve in the top to suit the Gen3 bar.

Then just attach it with some bolts and nyloc nuts.

Thats basically whats involved, I've never seen it done. But anything is possible.

I did this exact thing on my previous car. I did the cut outs under the foglights on the oem front bar. Then i had the bar resprayed and fitted mesh behind the cutouts. I had my cold air intake piped behind one of them.

There was a GenIII GT-B optional front bar with Outback style lights in the front bar either side of the front intake. It gave the car a rally look and was one of the things I really liked about the Legacy. Unfortunately, I've never seen one here but they are certainly available in Japan so I would try the usual suspects.

Doh, sorry misread what you were after.
