or is that sube-ownians? tongue

Hi All, name's Malcolm. I live in country vic and I was a proud owner of a 2007 Subaru Impreza 2.0i, but unfortunately due to some nutter in a commodore pulling out in front of me when I was driving along the highway I no longer am...

Poor little baby was written off, fortunately nobody was seriously injured, but unfortunately to me I've kinda lost out a little financially. I bought the old car new, and took out a loan for it...when it gets written off it doesn't help.

So now we come to...well now and I'm searching for a nice Gen 3 Liberty RX (would love a wagon, but they're tough to find with lowish kms and at a good price). It's a step up, but also a step back...that said I did want a Liberty RX at one point and now I'm back to them...would rather a smaller loan I can pay off quicker and still have something to show for it.

So here I am, signed up and hopefully if I find an RX for sale in good nic I'll actually be a Liberty owner smile

Cheers,
Malcolm

Thanks for the welcome.

I'm looking about the 10-14k range. I've found a couple of sedans with not much over 100,000kms on them for about 12k...but the wagons are much more difficult to find like that sad

yeah, it would be nice, but still on my P's lol.....so I'll have to stick with the 2.5 for the moment, until I get my opens. Then I'll start talking about a turbo......

I am on my full licence...but until I'm 25 I'll be staying away from the hi-po vehicles...insurance is just too much. Someone offered me their BA XR6 Turbo for $20k. A really good deal, and I would have taken it except for insurance and possibly running costs as well throwing that idea out the window...

Just went out looking this arvo, put a deposit down on a nice '99 RX manual sedan. Pretty well looked after car, happy with the result. Should have it within a week I hope.
