Gidday fellow Libertarians!

I have just joined primarily to see what sort of mods are available for the 3.0R.

I am into engine perfomance improvements (Kw & Nm) and efficiency (Lt/100k), so not going to do anything radical to my baby!

Would like to start with air intake/filter system, progress to exhaust and then maybe to ECU.

Looking for suggestions.

One thing that I have been mildly dissapointed in the 5sp auto is that it suffers more turbo lag than a turbo! Any suggestions out there?

Welcome to the site!

Are you sure its turbo lag and not the fact its just an auto gearbox? The only way you could be sure its the turbo and not the gearbox would be a boost gauge I guess, that might point to where the issue is.

There are several threads under Gen 4 about modifying the 3.0R. Have a look there or do a search.
