GETAGRIP - Part II

  Top of Page

G'day all, thought I should re-introduce myself on here, names Nick. Had the username Nick B4 when I was first looking for cars, ended up getting a Swift GTi for insurance purposes. About 2 years after that I bought a 05 Liberty Premium Pack in Black, 14 months later and I have recently traded that in for a 06 Liberty 3.0R Spec B in Pearl White.

Just have to say I absolutely love it! A completely different car to the 2.5i and the 6-speed STi box is a dream to use, not to mention the ratio's being perfect for the flat 6.

Only have a few plans for the future, nothing major, just an exhaust to add the note, don't have much of a clue on what to get, but the Hitech Mufflers seem to create a good note from the limited research I have put into it.

Just thought I would say hi, no pictures just yet, will have them up ASAP.

Thanks Dave, still couldn't afford the upgrade to your machine, but I am getting closer, only 10kW off your factory power and stealing your gearbox!

Welcome.

Firstly, lose the spoiler :bad:

Secondly, did you buy those number plates off Alex?

Nice to see you've been down to the plex. What times you get?

Haha, I thought the same thing about the spoiler when I got the car, but it is starting to grow on me. Plus due to the pearl paint I didn't really want to have to match the paint when it was removed. See how it goes I guess lol.

Yep, bought them off of Alex about 9 odd months ago, just after he sold is WRX. I reckon they are a score and a half, no to mention they can move from car to car no worries.

Well I went down the plex with my brother, he was running his VL Calais Turbo (which got kicked out for runninf 11.7 on street tyres lol). Saw Sam down there (MEANRS) but he was always pretty busy talking to others to approach. I ran a 15.8 stock as a rock which I am pretty happy about, beat alot of the 6 falcons and commo's that were down there. (In times, not that I got to race anyone slower then a 14.5 lol)

Thanks for the welcome all!

Oh nice... that'll be fun.

Yeah, i suppose it'd cost too much to remove the spoiler.

Yeah, good score off Alex.. they could only go on a Subaru i reckon, nothing else grips like Suby's tongue

Well I don't plan on changing from Subi anytime soon, so I don't think the plates will have to change manufacturer just yet lol.
