Maybe its you thats the wanker as you dont know what happened and still had to open your mouth. Your lucky your not in front of me right now cause I can guarantee you there wouldnt be much left of you if you were. WANKER

You are one lucky bloke! Best news is no-one was seriously injured. Strange about the airbags. Pehaps it was because you were going over the top of things rather than ploughing into them. Air bags will only deploy if the deceleration is great enough and in the right direction.

I Remember reading the manual a while back and it says air bags wont deploy unless there is a direct front on collision that is not above the grille or below the fogs, also cant be off to one side. as for the side air bag it only deploys in a side collision between mid wheel arch and rear of front door.

quite limited really but there must be reasons.

on another note my mate had his Integra's airbag go off from reversing off a curb and the front slamming down on the lip.
actually got quite hurt from it

thats just where they have the sensors for them unfortunately. i guess if they fitted more sensors to detect the crash better it would have gone off.
