by eVolUTIoN_182 on 29-05-06 07:20 PM Hey Guys yet again I have been searching for the GENII workshop manual and still unsuccessful. However like last time again I have come across another manual. This isnt a full manual and isnt as good as the GENIII and GENIV manuals. But this shaw would help you GEN1'ers in need or written of some written material. If you own a Gen1 check it out you wont regret it. Even if you dont own a Gen 1 check it out.

by shorts on 21-01-12 02:31 PM Thanks for this. Im currently in the process of making this PDF searchable using OCR (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optical_ch … ecognition). I'm making two versions - One which is a joined PDF (rather large file size) of all sections and the other of separate PDFs for each section. I'll let you know when I'm done. This is particularly handy when looking for trouble codes and other information specific to any part of the car, its systems etc. To the person who scanned this manual - I really hope you didn't scan all 8778 pages of a bound book using a standard flatbed scanner! WTF!

But may have some disadvantages. OCR accuracy depends on the scan. It may not pick up on some text and can have some unexpected results but I figure its better than having to trawl the whole 8778 or whatever pages.
