Hi, not sure if this has been posted before, i just searched youtube for 'subaru Liberty'. Does any one know who this car belongs to? Hope the end result wasnt too bad..

was that started by the turbo overheating? might be a bit overexaggerated but it could have happend. that second link is pretty made. go the ACTRSLC

Seems like this group was out on a pretty reckless cruise. Have a look at this vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qP9s3OCM7Io

The car that caught fire is the same one that is doing all the powerslides and trashing around in the mud.

There is some pretty silly driving in this vid! A couple of times they nearly collect other cars or fence pailings. I know that I wouldn't be standing anywhere near those cars when they are fanging around like that...

I'm not surprised the engine fryed itself after that little trashing session!

LOL

I was on that cruise.
It was ROC 05.
Awesome cruise!!!

The power stearing lines split, thats what caused the fire.
He was lucky that he was carrying a fire extinguisher.
We ended up fixing the leak by replacing the line, and we drove for around another 2 hours.

yeah i saw that vid a while ago, its the RSLC boys going through the twisties of canberra, they have put up a few of their cruise videos on the net.

its petes old car right?

Bojo mate those clips are AWSOME nice find. The music works really well with them I think. Also Mickey what car were you in back then? Thats pretty cool you were on it. Next time Ozlib goes on a cruize dont for get your cammeras guys even if there standard digis.

That weekend I was driving Reggy's car. The Bright yellow RS wagon you can see in the back ground.

It was so much fun, except his brakes wern't the best lol

What i found amusing about that fire was the fact that the dude behind the camera ran up the hill because he thought the car was going to explode.
Lucky for the boys that there was a few fire extinguishers around that day
