Gen II JDM Projector Price?

  Top of Page

Got my eye on a set of projectors but im not sure what the a decent going price is.

I know a few guys on here were selling a month or so back but i cant find the threads.

Just after what everyone paid for theirs.

I have looked at Import monster but haven't used them before but i see prices varying from as low as $98 up to $480 (with HID's fitted which im not bothered with) and then there is shipping on top of that.

I Will keep your offer in mind, Just found a really good price on a set but no plugs which is probably why they are so cheap.

I paid $250 for mine in the last month. You can read about them and see pics here:

The plugs are not a necessity for the install, but it makes it neat. You can use the full shroud female spade lugs, just remember where they go if you pull the headlight out. I paid $200 for mine with plugs and they were in pretty mint condition.

OK its over lol

Sorry d_gen i was going to grab those from you if the ebay sale went higher than $200 but i ended up scoring a bargain, $150 with plugs (photo was deceptive when i first looked at it)

Had been watching these all week and its the first time i have seen them on ebay go for less than $200

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll … 0306736316

i think its a once off cause public holiday in a few states too many people are off on long weekend.

Good luck with the sale.

VERY GOOD PRICE!! Well done big_smile Even with postage included, your up the deal a fair bit!

Only negative is its one of the many JDM projectors which have that thin yellowy coat of 'fog' or 'cloudiness' that is so common with these units. Might have something to do with them being plastic instead of glass like the AUDM ones are.

But at that price - who cares! Thats a steal I rekon.....

If theyre a fraction yellow, hit em up with some cut and polish, even brasso and they should come up nicely.

Yup, I second that^

I used some plastic polish and got rid of a fair bit of fogging.

my dad's falcon has crazy yellowing of the lenses, so bad its like a C.L.R. advert lol, i just hit that up with some wet'n' Dry and that fixed that with a ton of elbow grease so a bit of polishing of the these is more than worth it.

now i need some headlight protectors cause i dont want these cracked!

Wearing headlight protectors is like walking around with a condom hanging off your dong when your not rooting. But if you like to feel protected 'all the time' they will allow for peace of mind.

They work well when going country driving as the stones come flying at 100km+ in cars direction so I can understand you reason for putting them on as they do work.

Re: Gen II JDM Projector Price?

Looks like im going to have some trouble :search:
just pulled my passenger headlight to start on installing my projectors and forgot all about my cornering lights being wired up.. soo now im going to have to rewire the a few more things then expected...
but i thought i will take some shots of the work that has been done already so others can wire up their tuning lights too (RX owners know what i mean)
i was lucky enough the last owner was a pro and has done all the work professionally, hidden relays, even wired up the rear fog's and got the dash button for them too big_smile

what i found when i removed my light

The relay for turning lights, (ill get a wiring diagram drawn up later)

Im pretty sure if i wire it like everyone else has in the DIY but also have the parkers constant 12v running to the cornering lights it should all still work as per normal
also having the cornering lights wired up has given me a chassis grounding point for the projectors.

Looking good.

The globe type should be stamped on the housing near the cap for the projector bulb or close to. Maybe even on the top of the headlight lens. I cant remember. big_smile
