Gen 2 Heritage Turbo

G'day Folks,
I know a few people  here who also frequent the RS site.  My car started life as a 95 Heritage.  I initially converted it to Twin Turbo with an appropriate front cut.  After a few years of driving around the VOD the time came to get rid of the TT setup and go single.  After having the factory loom repinned to suit a RS turbo ECU I took all the TT bits off the motor and fitted the single turbo exhaust manifolds, VF12 Turbo etc along with a decent 3 inch dump pipe with splitter for the wastegate.  At around the same time I fitted the lift kit and bigger tyres along with a dual range gearbox with lower ratio gearsets from an L series.  I crawls along quite nicely and will easily tow a tandem trailer  full of firewood over rough ground at home.
I know it is discussed in detail but as I have experienced both setups, I would encourage TT owners to forget about ecutech etc and go single, the driveability is so much better.

Nice, certainly a change from all the lowering that goes on. Must get some seriously fast off-roading happening in that thing :suicide:
