I have a problem with the gear knob, it spins freely like it's not even threaded on. It moves easily up and down within about 20mm but something is still holding it on. It was not like this when i bought it. I've popped the leather gaiter down to inspect it but can't see the problem.

Also it is a momo gear knob so it may have something to do with the previous owner not installing it correctly
